Childcare
Strengthening the local childcare ecosystem by connecting families to care options and filling critical gaps through collaboration.
Childcare Resources
The CTXPEA Childcare Committee is committed to assisting families in navigating the local childcare landscape. We have curated these culturally responsive, affordable care options for our families and continue to fill critical gaps through collaboration with community-based organizations, public programs, and strategic partners.
MHEC Childcare Program
Maternal Health Equity Collaborative
Offers short-term respite and emergency childcare for postpartum Black and Latine individuals.
Other Childcare Resources
The CTXPEA Childcare Committee recognizes there are additional childcare resources in our community that serve local families in meaningful ways. Although we have not yet formally partnered with these organizations, they provide essential services, including long-term childcare assistance and after-school enrichment programs. As we continue to strengthen the local childcare ecosystem, we aim to build connections with programs like these to ensure families have access to a wide range of supportive, age-appropriate care options.
Provides childcare scholarships.
Offers after-school programs.
Child care and after-school care can provide a learning environment for your child to support their growth and development at any age. Check out the “How to select a child care” resources to help you pick a high-quality child care option and learn whether you qualify for child care scholarships.
