The Housing & Bill Pay Committee is focused on supporting family stability by connecting families to resources that help cover rent, utilities, and other essential expenses. These programs offer short-term financial assistance during critical periods like pregnancy and postpartum recovery. By addressing immediate housing and utility needs, we help reduce stress and strengthen overall well-being for families across Central Texas.

Housing Connector
Increasing access to housing for individuals
Housing Connector works with several properties in Travis county, helping to assist with approval criteria for applications, such as, rental history, credit score, application fees, deposits, and criminal history.
Other Housing & Bill Pay Resources
The Housing & Bill Pay Committee recognizes there are additional housing resources in our region that support long-term stability for families. While we have not yet formally partnered with these organizations, they offer services such as affordable housing access and support for those transitioning out of homelessness. These programs complement our efforts by expanding the range of housing options and support systems available to families across Central Texas.

Provides low-income housing and supportive services for working families, individuals, and seniors. As a potential partner, their housing-first approach aligns with our goals of promoting long-term stability for underserved populations.
Offers housing and wraparound support for youth experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Their expertise in serving young people makes them a key prospect for addressing generational housing challenges within our community.
Supports individuals impacted by incarceration, homelessness, and unemployment through reentry-focused housing and services. Their work represents a crucial opportunity to address the intersections of housing instability and systemic barriers to reintegration.

By aligning with mission-driven groups already doing this work, we aim to strengthen our collective impact and fill critical service gaps for families most at risk.
