Mental Health Resources
The Mental Health Committee is committed to reducing barriers to emotional wellness by connecting families to culturally relevant, community-based care. These programs offer free group support and sponsored therapy sessions with trusted providers, ensuring families have access to mental health care during pregnancy and postpartum. Through collaboration with partner organizations, we help families access the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Therapy cost coverage for MHEC (Maternal Health Equity Collaborative) partner clients.
Black Mamas Village
Embeds mental wellness in its core mission by offering culturally tailored, peer-supported mental health resources across the perinatal and parenting journey.
Other Mental Health Resources
The Mental Health Committee acknowledges that additional mental health resources are available through local referral networks. While we have not yet formally partnered with these services, they offer important support for families seeking care beyond our immediate programs. Offering community-centered grief support, workshops, and accessible therapy focused on loss and emotional well-being.
Creates brave spaces for women and young girls to access mental health support through free therapy via BetterHelp, peer support groups, and educational wellness events.
Advances mental health equity for BIPOC communities by tackling stigma, providing awareness campaigns for men and women, and offering culturally responsive support services.
Offers mental and behavioral health consultations, individual and family counseling, as well as group therapy tailored to men of color in Central Texas.
Provides compassionate, no-cost mental health support and peer mentorship to NICU families—before, during, and after their hospital stay.
Fosters healing from historical and intergenerational trauma through capacity-building and community-led advocacy.
